In this episode, we have a conversation with Teanika Hoffman and Nicklaine Paul on using self- advocacy as self-care while living with Sickle Cell Disease. Teanika is an entrepreneur and the Executive Director of the Sickle Cell Coalition of Maryland. Nicklaine is a Registered Nurse and the Founder of Sickle Care Solutions. Today they share their journey as entrepreneurs living with Sickle Cell Disease, how boundary setting is a form of self-care, and the delight of random travel and sister bonding time.
